The largest Gujarati language YouTube channel is RDC Gujarati with 13.3 million subscribers and over 5.3 billion lifetime views, followed by TV9 Gujarati at 4.98 million and Saregama Gujarati at 4.79 million. Among creator led channels rather than networks, Dhaval Domadiya leads comedy at 1.84 million, Geeta Ben Rabari leads folk music at 2.56 million, and Nehas Cook Book leads food at 2.79 million. Every figure on this page was read directly off the channel page on 29 July 2026.
Gujarati is spoken by roughly sixty million people and almost none of them are being served by a Gujarati television schedule any more. They are on YouTube. A Rajkot household watching a news bulletin, a Surat teenager watching a sketch about school life, a Leicester grandmother watching a fafda recipe in her own language: they are all pulling from the same platform, and the channels they pull from have quietly become the largest Gujarati media houses in existence.
This list ranks twenty six of them. Not by vibes, and not by a blogger's memory of what was popular three years ago. Every subscriber count, video count, lifetime view total and channel start date below was read straight off the channel's own YouTube page on 29 July 2026, and every channel here has an Instagram account confirmed by scraping it. If a channel could not clear both bars, it is not on the page, however famous it is.

How this list was built
Candidate channels were found by running YouTube's own channel search across ten Gujarati content categories, then filtered three ways. First, the channel had to publish primarily in Gujarati, checked by reading the titles of its six most recent uploads. That test alone removed several very large channels run by Gujarati creators who actually publish in Hindi, including two with more than fifteen million subscribers. Second, the subscriber count, video count, lifetime view total and join date had to come from the channel's own about page, not from a third party estimate. Third, the channel needed an Instagram account confirmed by an Apify scrape that matched the channel by name, bio, or an outbound link back to the same YouTube channel. Channels that failed the Instagram check were removed rather than shipped with a gap, which is why Shemaroo Gujarati at 6.09 million subscribers and Dhyey Digital Films at 2.82 million are absent despite being large enough to belong here.
Comedy and sketch
Gujarati comedy on YouTube splits cleanly in two: the Saurashtra deshi tradition, shot in courtyards with real families, and the Ahmedabad urban tradition, shot with scripts and lighting. Both work. They just laugh at different things.
1Dhaval Domadiya
Dhaval Domadiya runs the single biggest creator owned comedy channel in Gujarati, and he does it with almost no production apparatus. The formula is a Saurashtra household, a small domestic crisis, and a punchline that lands in the last ten seconds. Titles like the one about giving up mava and learning to roll rotlis, or the one about the activa refusing to start, tell you the entire aesthetic. Since 2016 the channel has posted 466 videos and collected 731 million views, which works out to an average of over 1.5 million views per upload.
The interesting part is what the number does not show. Domadiya has migrated a large chunk of his audience to a second family vlog channel, which is where his Instagram bio now points. That is the standard Gujarati creator arc: build on comedy, graduate to letting people watch your actual life. His Instagram account carries a platform verification badge and 324 thousand followers.
Instagram: @dhaval_domadiya (verified 2026-07-29).
2Dev Raval
Dev Raval opened his channel in April 2021 and has since put up 1,034 videos that have been watched 1.73 billion times. That view total is the loudest number in the comedy section of this list, and it is more than double what Dhaval Domadiya has accumulated in five extra years. The reason is volume plus shorts: Raval posts constantly, in Gujarati, and the sketches about brothers fighting or a man going missing from his own house travel far beyond Gujarat.
His recent output has swung toward travel. There is a run of vlogs from China, including a bullet train ride into Shanghai and a walk through a wholesale market, all narrated in Gujarati. He also runs a clothing label, which he links from his Instagram profile. That account is platform verified and carries 1.62 million followers, slightly more than the YouTube channel itself.
Instagram: @dev_ravall (verified 2026-07-29).
3Amdavadi Man
If Dhaval Domadiya is the village, Amdavadi Man is the city. The channel calls its own register urban desi, which is exactly right: these are jokes about Ahmedabad specifically, told by people who live there, in a Gujarati that has already absorbed English without apologising for it. The catchphrase Shu Keh Bhaibandh sits at the top of their channel description like a signature.
What separates them from most Gujarati comedy channels is patience. Only 265 videos since 2016, an average of one upload every twelve days, and recent output moved into a scripted web series called School Life released as numbered episodes with a teaser and a behind the scenes cut. That is television discipline applied to a YouTube channel. Their Instagram account, linked from the channel's own about page, has 348 thousand followers.
Instagram: @amdavadiman (verified 2026-07-29).
4The Comedy Factory
The Comedy Factory is the oldest comedy channel on this list, live since October 2011, and it describes itself without any modesty as the most popular Gujarati YouTube channel in the world creating original comedy content. That claim no longer survives contact with the subscriber numbers above it here. What survives is influence. TCF built the template that Gujarati sketch comedy still uses, and it built a live stand up circuit in Ahmedabad that did not exist before it.
Its current engine is The Lavari Show, a Gujarati chat format that had crossed episode 149 by late July 2026 and regularly pulls between 150 and 300 thousand views an episode with guests ranging from film directors to musicians. That is a weekly talk show economy running on a YouTube channel. The Instagram account has 589 thousand followers and is the same one the channel's own Linktree points to.
Instagram: @thecomedyfactoryindia (verified 2026-07-29).
5Kaminey Frendzz
Kaminey Frendzz built a following on one narrow subject, male friendship in Gujarat, and mined it for eight years. The channel motto reads dosti hu key, ek j chaale, single j sara, which is roughly the entire worldview in nine words. Their strongest work came as short Gujarati comedy web series released in numbered episodes, which pulled around 200 thousand views each.
There is an honest caveat here. In 2026 the group posted a video titled END OF KAMINEY FRENDZZ and the channel has been quiet since. Whether that is a pause or a full stop, the 281 video archive is still one of the better catalogues of Gujarati friendship comedy on the platform, and their Instagram account with 211 thousand followers remains live.
Instagram: @kaminey_frendzz (verified 2026-07-29).
Music, garba and folk
Nowhere is the gap between Gujarati YouTube and Gujarati television wider than in music. A single label channel here carries more subscribers than every Gujarati news channel combined, because garba and folk are seasonal, repeatable, and impossible to satisfy with a broadcast schedule.
6RDC Gujarati
RDC Gujarati is the largest Gujarati language channel on YouTube by a margin that is not close. 13.3 million subscribers, 9,549 videos, and 5.31 billion lifetime views, which is more than every other channel on this page put together apart from the news networks. It is a catalogue operation: garba, devotional, folk, sad songs, love songs and album tracks from artists including Jignesh Barot, Rakesh Barot, Gaman Santhal, Kajal Maheriya and Geeta Rabari.
Think of it less as a channel and more as the Gujarati music industry's warehouse. Almost ten thousand uploads means the average RDC video has been watched around 556 thousand times, which is what a long tail looks like when the tail is nine thousand items long. Its Instagram presence is deliberately small at around twelve thousand followers, and the account links straight back to the same YouTube channel, which is how it was confirmed.
Instagram: @rdcgujaratiofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
7Saregama Gujarati
Saregama is India's oldest music label and its Gujarati arm has 4.79 million subscribers, which makes it the biggest label backed Gujarati channel after RDC. The tagline on its Instagram is a boast in Gujarati about the whole state humming along, and the release pattern backs it: garba, folk, bhajan, bewafa songs, plus thematic playlist compilations built around monsoon or heartbreak.
The mix is what makes it useful. Where an artist channel gives you one voice, Saregama Gujarati gives you the archive plus the new releases in the same feed, from Jignesh Barot bhakti geet to composer retrospectives. 2,069 videos have produced 2.10 billion views since 2013. Its Instagram account carries a platform verification badge.
Instagram: @saregamagujarati (verified 2026-07-29).
8Jhankar Music Gujarati
Jhankar Music Gujarati is the newest of the three big label channels and, per video, the most efficient. 2,645 uploads since August 2017 have produced 2.33 billion views, an average of 880 thousand views per release. It describes itself as the home of the finest Gujarati music and it functions as the release valve for the current generation of Gujarati singles: Rakesh Barot, K.D. Chauhan, Pankaj Mistry, Vishal Hapor.
The channel also runs unplugged versions alongside the main video, which is a small thing that matters. It means a track gets two shots at an audience, one for the reel crowd and one for the people who want the voice without the production. Its Instagram account states the record label's base in Gujarat and links back to this YouTube channel, which is how it was confirmed.
Instagram: @jhankarmusicgujarati (verified 2026-07-29).
9Geeta Rabari
Geeta Rabari has the highest views per video of any artist on this list. 260 uploads, 925 million views, which averages out to 3.6 million views for every single thing she has posted since June 2018. No label, no back catalogue to lean on, just garba and bhajan released consistently through the year rather than only in Navratri season.
Her Instagram following of 4.81 million is almost double her YouTube subscriber count, which tells you something real about how Gujarati folk audiences behave: they discover on Instagram and they consume on YouTube. She books live shows directly through a contact number in her bio, which is the folk circuit operating exactly as it always did, only with the middleman replaced by a phone number on a verified profile.
Instagram: @geetabenrabariofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
10Kirtidan Gadhvi
Kirtidan Gadhvi's channel opened in July 2009, making it the oldest entry on this entire page by two years. That matters, because it means his catalogue spans the whole arc of Gujarati music going online, from early dayro recordings to current studio garba. 477 videos, 388 million views, and a run of releases that still lands new material every season.
He calls himself the Dandiya King in his own Instagram bio and, with 2.10 million verified followers there, the claim is hard to argue with in public. Like Geeta Rabari, his Instagram audience is more than twice his YouTube subscriber base, and he takes paid collaboration enquiries on a phone number in the bio.
Instagram: @kirtidangadhviofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
11Aditya Gadhvi
Seventy videos. That is the whole channel. Seventy uploads have generated 359 million views, an average of 5.1 million views per video, which is the highest per upload figure on this page by some distance and roughly forty times the rate of the big news channels. Aditya Gadhvi does not farm the algorithm. He releases when there is something to release.
His Coke Studio Bharat track Khalasi moved him out of the Gujarati folk circuit and into national playlists, and recent releases like Latke Halo clear 1.9 million views without any of the seasonal push that garba singles rely on. His Instagram account is platform verified with 1.72 million followers and takes work enquiries at a team address, which is what a career past the regional ceiling looks like.
Instagram: @adityagadhviofficial (verified 2026-07-29).
12Jigardan Gadhavi
Jigrra is Jigardan Gadhavi's channel, and it is the clearest example on this list of subscriber counts lying about reach. 326 thousand subscribers, but 192 million views across only 101 videos, and two of those videos carry the load: Chaniyacholi at 15 million views and Ramo Re at 7.6 million. People do not subscribe to him. They just watch him every Navratri.
The channel doubles as his tour log, with concert footage from Toronto sitting next to studio releases from his album Guldasto. His Instagram account is platform verified under his full name and announces a multi city Navratri tour, which is the actual business the YouTube channel is feeding.
Instagram: @jigrra (verified 2026-07-29).
News and current affairs
Gujarati news on YouTube runs on a different physics from everything else here. These channels upload two hundred thousand to three hundred and fifty thousand videos each, because every bulletin, clip and package becomes a URL. Judge them on total views, not on upload count.
13TV9 Gujarati
TV9 Gujarati is the most subscribed Gujarati news channel on YouTube and the second most subscribed Gujarati channel of any kind. 348,291 videos since May 2013 and 3.27 billion views. That upload figure is not a typo: it is roughly ninety videos a day, every day, for thirteen years, which is what happens when a rolling news operation treats YouTube as its primary distribution rather than a highlights reel.
The channel is part of the TV9 Network, whose Hindi arm is one of the largest news channels in India. Its Gujarati Instagram account is platform verified with 1.93 million followers and is linked from the channel's own about page, alongside a WhatsApp channel, which is now where a large share of Gujarati news actually gets forwarded.
Instagram: @tv9gujarati (verified 2026-07-29).
14News18 Gujarati
News18 Gujarati has fewer subscribers than TV9 Gujarati but more views: 4.05 billion against 3.27 billion, from 71 thousand fewer uploads. On a per video basis it is the most watched Gujarati news channel on the platform, at around 14,600 views per upload against TV9's 9,400.
It launched in October 2016, four years after the Network18 group consolidated its regional news brands, and it feeds a companion Gujarati news website. Its Instagram account is platform verified with 2.24 million followers, the largest Instagram following of any Gujarati news brand in this list.
Instagram: @news18gujarati (verified 2026-07-29).
15ABP Asmita
ABP Asmita has posted more videos than any other channel on this page, 351,127 of them since November 2015, which is close to a hundred uploads a day sustained for a decade. Those uploads have drawn 2.58 billion views. It describes itself plainly as a 24 hour regional news channel broadcasting in the Gujarati language, and it is the Gujarati arm of the ABP Network.
The channel pushes hard on its own app and website rather than relying only on YouTube, which is visible in the outbound links on its about page: an app install link, the Gujarati ABP Live site, plus Telegram and Facebook. Its Instagram account carries 555 thousand followers and states the Gujarati language remit directly in the bio.
Instagram: @abpasmitatv (verified 2026-07-29).
16VTV Gujarati
VTV Gujarati is the oldest of the big Gujarati news channels on YouTube, running since January 2012, and the only one that openly positions itself as more than a bulletin service. Its Instagram bio describes the mix as news, entertainment and young India's voice, and the channel's output reflects that split.
It is operated by Sambhaav Nascent LLP, the name that appears on its Instagram account, which carries 1.13 million followers and is the handle linked from the channel's own about page. 199,138 uploads have produced 1.49 billion views, and like its rivals it now routes a chunk of its distribution through a WhatsApp channel.
Instagram: @vtv_gujarati_news (verified 2026-07-29).
17Zee 24 Kalak
Zee 24 Kalak calls itself Gujarat's number one 24x7 news channel in its own Instagram bio, which is a television ratings claim rather than a YouTube one. On YouTube it sits fifth among Gujarati news channels with 2.23 million subscribers, but its 1.77 billion views from 233,446 uploads put it ahead of VTV Gujarati on total watch volume.
It is the Gujarati arm of Zee News and launched on YouTube in May 2017, later than most of its competitors, which makes the view total more impressive than the subscriber ranking suggests. Its Instagram account is platform verified and carries 3.08 million followers, more than the YouTube channel itself.
Instagram: @zee24kalak (verified 2026-07-29).
18Sandesh News
Sandesh is the closest thing Gujarati journalism has to an institution, a newspaper that predates most of the television brands competing with it here, and its YouTube channel has been running since October 2012. 268,608 uploads, 831 million views.
That view total is the lowest of the major Gujarati news channels despite a very high upload count, which is a useful reminder that a legacy print brand does not automatically translate into a video audience. Where Sandesh does convert is off platform: its Instagram account is platform verified with 1.90 million followers, it runs its own apps on both stores, and it pushes a Telegram and WhatsApp funnel from the channel page.
Instagram: @sandeshnews (verified 2026-07-29).
19BBC News Gujarati
BBC News Gujarati is the outlier in this section and the most interesting one. 29,116 videos against the 200,000 to 350,000 of every Indian network above it, yet 838 million views, which is more than Sandesh News has managed with nine times the uploads. Per video it is the most watched Gujarati news channel on YouTube by a wide margin, at roughly 28,800 views per upload.
The reason is format. Instead of clipping every bulletin, it publishes reported pieces and explainers, so each video has a longer shelf life. Its content is now produced for the BBC by Collective Newsroom, a detail stated on its own verified Instagram account, which carries 1.15 million followers.
Instagram: @bbcnewsgujarati (verified 2026-07-29).
Food and recipes
Gujarati food content is the quietest large category on YouTube. No hooks, no shouting, just a pair of hands and a kadhai. It also has the most loyal diaspora audience of anything on this page, because a recipe in your mother's language is not really about the recipe.
20Nehas Cook Book
Nehas Cook Book is the largest Gujarati food channel on YouTube and it got there in under seven years. Opened in September 2019, it now carries 1,464 videos and 926 million views, which is 633 thousand views per recipe. The catalogue is unapologetically regional: kopra pak, fulwadi, moong dal pudla, masala toast sandwich for ten rupees.
The operation extends well past YouTube into a recipe website, a free recipe app, a Pinterest presence and a WhatsApp channel, all linked from the channel page. Its Instagram account carries 1.19 million followers and describes the remit as authentic Gujarati vegetarian recipes, which is precisely what it delivers, week after week, without a single format gimmick.
Instagram: @nehascookbook (verified 2026-07-29).
21Sheetal's Kitchen
Sheetal's Kitchen has posted 2,450 videos since April 2018, a thousand more than Nehas Cook Book, for 612 million views. The pitch is closer to a working kitchen than a studio: handvo dhokla flour ground in a mixer, jowar sukhadi for monsoon, farali muthiya for ekadashi, samosa with the pastry tips actually explained.
The channel also runs a Hindi sibling, which is the standard scaling move for a Gujarati food creator who has saturated her first language. Her Instagram account is platform verified, carries 237 thousand followers, and names the Gujarati YouTube channel and its subscriber count directly in the bio, which is how it was confirmed.
Instagram: @sheetalkitchen (verified 2026-07-29).
22Gujju Ben na Nasta
Gujju Ben na Nasta is the smallest food channel here and the only one that produced a public figure. The recipes are traditional Gujarati snacks made the way a grandmother makes them: fafda, chorafali with lasaniya aloo, moong dal dhokla, sabudana vada for fasting days. 384 videos since April 2021, 29.4 million views.
Her verified Instagram bio lists the credentials that the YouTube numbers alone would never surface: a top sixteen finish on MasterChef India in 2023, a TEDx talk at AIIMS Patna, a place on the Forbes 50 Over 50 list for 2025, and the line she is best known for, YouTuber at 78. Subscriber counts are a poor proxy for cultural weight, and this entry is the proof.
Instagram: @gujjubennanasta (verified 2026-07-29).
Learning, kids and education
Two channels here do the job a Gujarati medium school library never managed: one for the under sevens, one for board exam students. Between them they hold four million subscribers.
23Bhar Vinanu Bhantar
The name translates as education without a burden, and the channel has been keeping that promise since March 2011. It publishes Gujarati balgeet, balvarta and children's poems, and it is the single largest repository of Gujarati nursery material anywhere on the internet. Only 531 videos, but 742 million views, which is 1.4 million views for every rhyme and story it has ever posted.
The economics are worth pausing on. This is a fifteen year old channel averaging fewer than three uploads a month, still pulling views on poems about sparrows and squirrels. Children's content compounds like nothing else, because every new cohort of three year olds discovers the back catalogue from scratch. Its Instagram account states the same Gujarati remit and links to this channel.
Instagram: @bharvinanubhantar (verified 2026-07-29).
24Youth Vidyakul
Youth Vidyakul teaches the Gujarat board syllabus for standards 9 to 12 in Gujarati, and it does it at industrial scale: 10,250 videos since May 2017, more uploads than every music artist on this page combined. 365 million views. The channel's own Instagram bio claims the highest concurrent live viewership record for a Gujarati education stream at over 67,000 students.
What it actually sells is not video, it is proof. The most recent uploads are student result stories, including a Gujarat state first ranker and a grocer's daughter placing eighth in the state, run as trailers for the next batch. That is the coaching class business model transplanted onto YouTube without a single change to the pitch, and it works. The Instagram account carries 306 thousand followers.
Instagram: @youth_vidyakul_official (verified 2026-07-29).
Ideas, speaking and philosophy
Gujarati motivational speaking predates YouTube by decades, through the dayro and the seminar circuit. These two channels are what happens when that stage moves online without losing its live audience.
25Paras Pandhi
Paras Pandhi describes himself in one Gujarati word: tapali, the postman. He says his job is to carry the world's best and most useful ideas to people, that he reads and lives each letter before he delivers it, and that he is often late but people keep the letter in their hearts. That is a better mission statement than most agencies write for a fee.
The channel runs full length recorded seminars rather than clips, including a Bhagavad Gita course and annual motivation seminars that clear a hundred thousand views each. 254 videos, 63.7 million views since October 2018. His verified Instagram account with 319 thousand followers positions him across three roles at once: spiritual motivational speaker, business coach, and Gujarati folk artist.
Instagram: @paraspandhi (verified 2026-07-29).
26Sanjay Raval
Sanjay Raval is the smallest channel on this list by lifetime views, 21.6 million across 221 videos since May 2016, and it is here because of what the channel is attached to rather than what it counts. His verified Instagram account carries 1.33 million followers, over three times his YouTube subscriber base, and states his current project as building India's second largest skill university.
The channel itself is a hybrid: archive footage of Gujarati motivational speeches going back to 2016 sitting alongside new interview episodes with physiotherapists, chartered accountants and solar industry voices. It is a speaker using YouTube as a permanent record of a live career rather than as the career itself, which is the older and arguably healthier model.
Instagram: @sanjaymsraval (verified 2026-07-29).
What the numbers say
Largest Gujarati YouTube channels by subscriber count, captured 29 July 2026
Every figure was read off the channel's own YouTube page on 29 July 2026 and is shown at the precision YouTube itself displays, which rounds to three significant figures. Subscriber counts move daily, so treat these as a snapshot of that date and not as a permanent ranking. Channels that could not be confirmed by both a YouTube about page reading and an Instagram scrape were left off the chart entirely.
Questions people actually ask
Which Gujarati YouTube channel has the most subscribers?
RDC Gujarati, with 13.3 million subscribers and 5.31 billion lifetime views as of 29 July 2026. It is a music catalogue channel carrying garba, folk, devotional and film tracks from artists including Jignesh Barot, Rakesh Barot and Geeta Rabari. The second largest is TV9 Gujarati at 4.98 million.
Who is the biggest Gujarati comedy YouTuber?
Dhaval Domadiya has the most subscribers among individual Gujarati comedy creators at 1.84 million, but Dev Raval has been watched far more, with 1.73 billion lifetime views against Domadiya's 731 million. Among comedy collectives, Amdavadi Man leads at 1.27 million ahead of The Comedy Factory at 1.08 million.
Which Gujarati news channel is the most watched on YouTube?
By subscribers it is TV9 Gujarati at 4.98 million. By total views it is News18 Gujarati at 4.05 billion. By views per video it is BBC News Gujarati, which averages around 28,800 views on each of its 29,116 uploads because it publishes reported explainers rather than clipping every bulletin.
Are these subscriber counts accurate?
They were read directly off each channel's own YouTube about page on 29 July 2026, so they are as accurate as YouTube's public display, which rounds to three significant figures. They are not estimates from a third party analytics site. Because counts change every day, expect drift, and treat any figure here as a snapshot of that date.
Why are Shemaroo Gujarati and Dhyey Digital Films not on this list?
Both are large enough to qualify on subscribers, at 6.09 million and 2.82 million respectively, but neither could be matched to a confirmed official Instagram account when checked on 29 July 2026. This page only ships entries that clear both a YouTube data check and a social account check, so incomplete entries are removed rather than published with gaps.
